Executives at Beau Rivage today announced that they have opened a new Job Placement Center to provide information about available positions at the Gold Strike resort in Tunica, MS; and all available positions at MGM MIRAGE properties in Nevada. Additionally, employees can learn of any available jobs with Beau Rivage contractors already rebuilding the resort.

The Job Placement Center is the newest element of an on going recovery program that began immediately after Hurricane Katrina passed over the Gulf Coast.

The Beau Rivage Recovery Center opened the day after the storm on the grounds of the Beau Rivage employee parking lot to assist employees. Payroll checks are being distributed from the Recovery Center to employees still in the area.

More than 100 Beau Rivage employees already have been repositioned with contractors to aid in the recovery effort at the resort. The company has an immediate need for up to 300 more employees to take positions with contractors.

An Employee Assistance Center staffed by Beau Rivage Human Resources, Community Relations staff and other corporate employees will open on Monday, September 12 providing expanded services for employees. These services will include direct internet communications with FEMA, the American Red Cross and other government relief agencies.

All Beau Rivage employees remain employed and will be provided full pay and benefits through December 6, 2005. This includes all earned vacation, including additional vacation earned during the next 90 days. The company also will continue to provide 401K matching contributions during this period. The company announced its commitment to re-hire all employees upon the re-opening of Beau Rivage.

MGM MIRAGE has made arrangements with its prescription provider, Catalyst Rx, to allow employee health plan members to have prescriptions filled by "out of network" pharmacies. MGM MIRAGE also has made arrangements with its health plan administrator, Wausau Benefits, to give approval to medical claims from "out of network" doctors, clinics and hospitals.

The company is waiving co-payments and employee contributions on medical, dental and prescription drug claims. The company also is working individually with any employee who is in need of assistance in arranging for medical care.

Plans for recovery and rebuilding Beau Rivage are underway, with the company committing to rebuild the resort quickly, and to utilize employees in the recovery.

If they are able, Beau Rivage employees can contact the 24-hour MGM MIRAGE Call Center at 866-368-7399. Employees are encouraged to check in to advise the company of their situation and how they can best be reached.
