Irene Bustamante Named Among Four Finalists for United States Hispanic Chamber of Commerce Business Advocate Award

In recognition of her outreach efforts in support of Hispanic-owned businesses, MGM MIRAGE Director of National Diversity Relations Irene Bustamante has been named one of four finalists for the United States Hispanic Chamber of Commerce (USHCC) Corporate Hispanic Business Advocate of the Year Award. The award recipient will be announced Saturday, September 17, at the USHCC's Annual Awards Gala.

On behalf of MGM MIRAGE, Bustamante is responsible for managing the company's relationships with its local and national strategic diversity partners. Active in the community, she serves on several boards including the Nevada Minority Business Council. She also has positions of leadership with several national organizations, such as the USHCC, where she is a member of the Senior Executive Advisory Council. She is also a member of the Business Development Advisory Council for the Organization of Chinese Americans.

Just recently she served as co-chair of La Oportunidad, the 3rd Annual Business Expo sponsored by the Latin Chamber of Commerce of Las Vegas.
