The following is a summary of current MGM MIRAGE facts related to the recovery and rebuilding after Hurricane Katrina:

Employees and Vendors

All Beau Rivage employees remain employed and will be provided full pay and benefits through Dec. 6, 2005. This includes all earned vacation, including additional vacation earned during the next 90 days. The company also will continue to provide 401K matching contributions during this period. The company announced its commitment to re-hire all employees upon the re-opening of Beau Rivage.

The Beau Rivage Employee Assistance Center is now open at Beau Rivage seven days a week, 9 a.m. - 5 p.m. Central Daylight Time. Services available on site include:

   -  Employee paycheck distribution
   -  Wachovia Bank (formerly South Trust Bank) representatives on site to
      help employees open a bank account and sign up for direct deposit of
      their paychecks
   -  Internet access for FEMA and Red Cross aid applications
   -  FEMA representative on site
   -  Job opportunity assistance
   -  Clothing, basic necessities and food for those in need
   -  MFS/401K administrators on site to discuss 401K accounts
   -  Mississippi State Department of Health nurse for medical assistance,
      including free tetanus shots
   -  Crisis counseling services

Wachovia Bank branches in the surrounding four-state region will honor all Beau Rivage payroll checks. Checks are being shipped overnight to those who cannot pick them up in person and have provided their contact information to the 24-hour MGM MIRAGE Call Center at 866-368-7399. Employees are encouraged to check in with the Call Center to advise the company of their situation and how they can best be reached.

Beau Rivage employees may apply online for aid to FEMA (www.FEMA.gov) or call FEMA at 1-800-621-FEMA (3362) or for speech/hearing impaired (TTY) call 1-800-462-7585. Employees may also contact the American Red Cross for aid online at www.redcross.org or call 1-800-975-7585.

MGM MIRAGE is waiving co-payments on medical, dental and prescription drug claims for Beau Rivage employees. The company is also waiving Beau Rivage employee contributions for medical and dental policies.

The company has made arrangements with its prescription provider, Catalyst Rx, to allow employee health plan members to have prescriptions filled by "out-of-network" pharmacies.

MGM MIRAGE has also made arrangements with its health plan administrator, Wausau Benefits, to give approval to medical claims from "out-of-network" doctors, clinics and hospitals.

The company also is working individually with any employee who is in need of assistance in arranging for medical care.

More than 250 Beau Rivage employees have already been repositioned with contractors to aid in the recovery effort at the resort. The company has an immediate need for up to 200 more employees to take positions with contractors.

Extending efforts beyond employees and into the Biloxi community, MGM MIRAGE has announced all outstanding vendor invoices will be honored in full.

Employee/Family Recovery Fund

MGM MIRAGE has created a special recovery fund with a $1 million seed donation through the company's employee-funded Voice Foundation. The company also will match, without limit, dollar-for-dollar, every employee donation made to this recovery fund by its 70,000 member workforce through the end of the year. These funds will be devoted to Beau Rivage employees and their families to aid in the efforts directed at their long-term recovery needs. Campaigns to raise funds were launched Sept. 8 at MGM MIRAGE's 23 other properties nationwide.

Recovery of Beau Rivage

Plans for recovery and rebuilding Beau Rivage are underway, with the company committing to rebuild the resort quickly, and to utilize employees in the recovery.

Beau Rivage buildings are already clear of most mud and debris so assessment of the structural integrity and essential systems such as electricity, plumbing and HVAC can begin.
