WHAT: MGM MIRAGE will release the 2005 results of the company's
Diversity Initiative focusing on advancements in the areas of
human resources/employment, purchasing, construction and
philanthropy.

BACKGROUND: In May 2000, MGM MIRAGE voluntarily launched the gaming
industry's first Diversity Initiative, making groundbreaking
efforts in diversity across all business areas: human
resources, construction, purchasing, philanthropy, and
corporate governance. The company will announce plans to
build upon its foundation of diversity as well as further
integrate diversity into its business operations.
Also included in the day's program will be a Diversity Expo,
where over 500 vendors will have the unique opportunity to
meet the company's properties and corporate units including
Construction, Corporate Retail and Corporate Purchasing.
Executives from each of MGM MIRAGE's 23 properties and
Project CityCenter will be on hand to meet with business
owners to help them better understand how to do business with
the gaming company.
