William J. Hornbuckle
, Chief Executive Officer and President

William (Bill) J. Hornbuckle is Chief Executive Officer (CEO) and President of MGM Resorts International (NYSE: MGM), an S&P 500® global entertainment company featuring iconic hotels and casinos, meeting and conference spaces, live and theatrical entertainment experiences and an array of restaurant, nightlife and retail offerings across the globe. MGM Resorts’ portfolio includes some of the most recognizable resort brands in the industry, such as Bellagio, MGM Grand, ARIA, Mandalay Bay and Borgata.

As Chief Executive, Mr. Hornbuckle oversees all aspects of MGM Resorts’ strategy, operations and hospitality and gaming development projects. This includes leading the company’s development efforts in Asia and its sports betting strategy.

Mr. Hornbuckle served as President of MGM Resorts since 2012 and became Chief Operating Officer in 2019. He led MGM Resorts’ domestic and international expansion efforts, including the development of resorts in National Harbor, MD, and Macau and of T-Mobile Arena in Las Vegas. More recently, Mr. Hornbuckle oversaw MGM Resorts’ expansion of entertainment and sports betting. Additionally, he held the roles of Chief Design and Construction Officer and Chief Customer Development Officer.

Mr. Hornbuckle has been with MGM Resorts for more than two decades, including service as the company’s Chief Marketing Officer, where he led the creation and launch of the M life Rewards customer loyalty program. Mr. Hornbuckle’s previous positions with MGM Resorts include: President and Chief Operating Officer of Mandalay Bay, Chief Operating Officer of MGM Resorts International-Europe and President and Chief Operating Officer of MGM Grand Las Vegas.

An experienced industry executive, Mr. Hornbuckle started and built his career at Mirage Resorts through a range of senior management positions. He was President and Chief Operating Officer for Caesars Palace, Las Vegas; President and Chief Operating Officer of the Golden Nugget in Laughlin; Executive Vice President and Chief Operating Officer of Treasure Island and Vice President of Hotel Operations for The Mirage, which he opened in 1989.

Mr. Hornbuckle is a member of MGM Resorts’ Board of Directors and serves as the Chairman of the Board of Directors of MGM China Holdings, which operates resorts in Macau. He is Chairman of the Board of Directors for CityCenter JV (a joint venture with Dubai World). He is a board member of T-Mobile Arena (a joint venture with AEG) and of the Las Vegas Stadium Authority.

A long-time resident of Southern Nevada, Mr. Hornbuckle is active in community service. He serves on the Board of Trustees for Three Square Food Bank, is the Founder of the Bank of George, a local banking and financial services institution, and is President of the Fulfillment Fund. Mr. Hornbuckle holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Hotel Administration from the University of Nevada, Las Vegas.

Corey Sanders
, Chief Operating Officer

Corey Sanders is Chief Operating Officer for MGM Resorts International. He oversees the company’s Las Vegas and regional properties as well as multiple corporate departments, including Hospitality, Gaming, Design and Construction, and Strategic Initiatives.

Prior to being renamed Chief Operating Officer, Mr. Sanders served as the company’s Chief Financial Officer and Treasurer. In this role he provided financial leadership and vision for the organization and bore responsibility for financial analysis, budgeting and forecasting, investor relations, merger and acquisitions and capital markets transactions.

In his tenure with MGM Resorts, Mr. Sanders has also served as Chief Operating Officer for the company’s Core Brands, Executive Vice President of Operations for MGM MIRAGE, Executive Vice President and Chief Financial Officer for MGM Grand Resorts, Executive Vice President and CFO for MGM Grand, Assistant Vice President of Corporate Finance and Tax Director for MGM Grand.

Mr. Sanders received a Bachelor of Arts degree in Economics from UCLA.

Jonathan Halkyard
, Chief Financial Officer

Jonathan Halkyard is Chief Financial Officer at MGM Resorts, overseeing all financial activities across our domestic and international portfolios, as well as Investor Relations, Accounting, Procurement, Treasury and Tax. He is a seasoned gaming and hospitality leader who has guided public companies to achieve disciplined, long-term growth.

Most recently, Mr. Halkyard was President and Chief Executive Officer of Extended Stay America (ESA), where he also held roles as Chief Financial Officer and Chief Operating Officer.

Before joining ESA, Mr. Halkyard was Executive Vice President and Chief Financial Officer of NV Energy from 2012 to 2013. Prior to that, he enjoyed a 13-year career with Caesars Entertainment, where he held numerous operations and corporate roles including Vice President, Treasurer, Senior Vice President, Executive Vice President and CFO.

Mr. Halkyard holds his M.B.A. from Harvard University and his B.A. from Colgate University. He now serves as a member of the Board of Directors of the International Center for Responsible Gaming.

Tilak Mandadi
, Chief Strategy, Innovation & Technology Officer

Tilak Mandadi is the Chief Strategy, Innovation & Technology Officer at MGM Resorts and serves as a member of the Executive Committee. In this role, he leads corporate strategy and innovation, and manages the company’s relationship with and is on the Board of Directors for BetMGM. In close partnership with the rest of the leadership team, Tilak is focused on accelerating the company’s growth strategies by creating compelling and immersive customer experiences at the intersection of responsible gaming and entertainment, enabling technology-, digital- and data- driven operational transformation, and building new, profitable and sustainable lines of revenue.

Mandadi brings decades of experience to MGM Resorts as a strategic thought leader in Fortune-100 companies as well as start-ups, most recently serving as executive vice president of digital, and global chief technology officer for Disney Parks, Experiences and Products where he led a large, diverse global team that enabled guest-focused growth strategies for theme parks, resort hotels, cruise line and various travel, retail, food and beverage, licensing, publishing and games lines of business.

Prior to his role at Disney, Mandadi led digital transformation and growth at American Express as senior vice president, Digital. He has also served in digital, data and technology leadership positions at FedEx Kinko's (now FedEx Office) and Dell Online. His diverse background in hospitality, retail, entertainment, financial services and technology-based companies will be a significant asset as he guides MGM Resorts' corporate and digital strategy.

Mandadi has a master’s degree in Computer Science from the University of Oregon and is based in Las Vegas.

John M. McManus
, Executive Vice President, General Counsel and Secretary

John M. McManus is Executive Vice President, General Counsel and Secretary for MGM Resorts International. In this role, he is responsible for oversight of the Company’s legal affairs as well as the government affairs, corporate communications, corporate security, risk management and compliance departments. Mr. McManus works closely with members of senior management and the Company’s Board of Directors. He joined MGM in 2001 and has served as counsel in various capacities at the parent company and its operating subsidiaries during his tenure.

Before joining the Company, Mr. McManus held the position of Executive Vice President, General Counsel and Secretary for the Sahara Hotel & Casino and worked as an associate attorney with the Las Vegas law firm of Schreck, Jones, Bernhard, Woloson & Godfrey.

Jyoti Chopra
, Chief People, Inclusion, and Sustainability Officer

Jyoti Chopra is Senior Vice President and Chief People, Inclusion and Sustainability Officer for MGM Resorts International, based in Las Vegas. She is responsible for leading Human Resources and Social Impact and Sustainability. She oversees environmental, social and governance (ESG) reporting and is responsible for directing enterprise-wide human and social capital initiatives and serves as liaison to the Board of Directors’ corporate social responsibility committee. She oversees the MGM Resorts Foundation and community relations.

Ms. Chopra is an award winning talent, diversity, inclusion and sustainability leader. Prior to her role at MGM Resorts, she was Senior Vice President of Global Diversity & Inclusion and HR Operations and Transformation at Pearson Plc., an education technology and UK FTSE 100 company, where she was a member of the senior and human resources leadership teams.

Earlier in her career, Ms. Chopra served as Chief Diversity Officer and Managing Director of Global Citizenship and Sustainability for BNY Mellon as well as the global leader for communications and public relations at Deloitte Touche Tohmatsu Limited and as a Managing Director at Merrill Lynch & Co.

Ms. Chopra began her career covering human development and issues affecting women and children at the United Nations. She was born and raised in London, England. She holds a Bachelor of Arts Honors degree in Journalism from New York University. She completed the Securities Industry Institute at the Wharton School, University of Pennsylvania. She holds an MBA with distinction from the Saïd Business School, University of Oxford.

Ms. Chopra is presently a member of the Diversity Advisory Board for Toyota and serves as a Diversity and Inclusion Advisor to the Spencer Stuart Global Leadership Team. She is a member of the Board of Directors at Schneider National and serves on the company’s Compensation Committee.

Steven J. Zanella
, Chief Commercial Officer

As Chief Commercial Officer at MGM Resorts, Steve Zanella oversees Public Relations, Marketing, Direct Marketing, Group Sales, Social Media, Loyalty and Commercial Strategy. Steve is an accomplished industry veteran who has held several leadership positions at MGM Resorts.

Prior to taking this role, Mr. Zanella served as President & COO of CityCenter, which includes Aria Resort & Casino and Vdara Hotel & Spa, where he oversaw daily operations and provided strategic direction for the ultra-luxury resorts.

Mr. Zanella previously held the position of President & Chief Operating Officer of MGM Grand Detroit where he was responsible for the day-to-day operations of one of the most dynamic resorts in the region. In addition to overseeing all resort operations and guiding the property’s strategic direction, he cultivated MGM Grand Detroit’s guest service culture and fostered open communication and teamwork within the property and across the company.

A veteran of the hospitality industry with more than 29 years of experience, he joined MGM Resorts in 1991 as a participant in the Management Associate Program, which is a hands-on training curriculum for college graduates. In his tenure with the company, Mr. Zanella has also served as Senior Vice President of Marketing for MGM Grand Las Vegas, Vice President of Slots at Beau Rivage, Director of Slot Marketing and Player Development also at Beau Rivage and Domestic Marketing Administrator for Table Games Marketing at The Mirage.

Mr. Zanella received his bachelor’s degree in Hotel Administration from the University of Nevada, Las Vegas. In 2014 he earned a Master in Business Administration degree from the University of Michigan’s Stephen M. Ross School of Business.
